Maintenance Program

Kappy's Karts offers a onsite Monthly Maintenance Program. Our Certified Technician comes to your location, and services your cart monthly. After your service is completed you are provided an inspection checklist of your cart service. This covers tires, batteries, lights, windshield, etc. please download our service agreement and review our program. Program benefits: 10% discount on parts & 10% discount on Labor, Roadside Assistance and Free Loaner Cart (subject to availability)

Common Repairs

REPLACE BATTERY – BATTERIES BREAK DOWN OR LOSE CHARGE – THEY ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO CORROSION AND DAMAGE FROM SALTWATER AND HEAT, AND IMPROPER STORAGE OR INFREQUENT USE.

SOLENOID ISSUES – THE SOLENOID IS A CYLINDRICAL COILED WIRE PART THAT CONTROLS CURRENT FLOW FOR STARTING AND ACCELERATING YOUR GOLF CART.

IGNITION SWITCH ISSUES – THE IGNITION KEY SWITCH, JUST LIKE EVERYTHING, CAN BREAK DOWN OVER TIME. THIS WILL PREVENT YOU FROM STARTING YOUR GOLF CART.

FORWARD/BACKWARD DIRECTIONAL SWITCH – THIS RELAY CAN BREAK DOWN NOT ALLOWING YOU TO SWITCH THE DIRECTIONAL CONTROLS ON YOUR GOLF CART.

SPEED CONTROLLER – ONE OF THE TRICKIEST ISSUES TO DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR, BUT USUALLY IF YOU CANNOT MAINTAIN THE SPEED OR HAVE ISSUES WITH ACCELERATION IT MIGHT BE A PROBLEM WITH THE SPEED CONTROLLER.

SPARK PLUGS – PART OF THE IGNITION AND MOTOR FUNCTION. THEY REQUIRED BASIC MAINTENANCE AND CHECKUP IN ORDER FOR THE GOLF CART TO WORK.
